The New Providence Independence Day Celebration returns to the Borough!

This year’s Festival was held on Sunday, July 3, and included more activities than ever before!

DJ Mike Savage provided entertainment from his perch on the NP Fuel “Jets” Truck on South Street in front of NP Fuel. Roving entertainment was fun for all. This year Martial Arts for Life sponsored the “Chalk on South” area for kids (of all ages) to create art and messages on the street. Our fabulous Fireworks begun at 9:30 PM. South Street was closed from Gales Drive to Springfield Avenue for people to enjoy the festival.
