Last years Family safety and wellness day was a big success.  Read about the the first annual Family Safety and Wellness Day in New Providence held on October 15, 2011 below.

The event, held in the combined parking areas of TD Bank and New Providence Chiropractic – corner, of South Street and Gales Drive, offered family friendly activities such as a moon walk, music DJ, balloons, pumpkin decorating, face painting, and more!

In addition, these other exciting items were scheduled:

• US Marines brought their Hum “V” for kids to sit in, and a Chin Bar to test their fitness, as well as a Marine display…
• The FBI presented internet safety, child ID Kits, and employment opportunities…
• New Providence Presbyterian Church and St Luke’s Church attended with their info on programs for the entire family…
• A Golf pro from the Reihl Golf Academy assisted New Providence Chiropractic’s Dr. Schlobohm to making sure everyone’s golf swing was pain-free…
• NP Fire Department’s “smoke house” showed children how to escape from a burning building…
• TD Bank presented important information about Identity Theft and mortgage refinancing…
• Karate World featured their safety program…
• Homegrown DJ Leigh Lombardo Cole played music and sang…
• PNC Bank had pumpkin decorating…
